1. What is a lace front wig or full lace wig? A hairpiece or full wig which is made with a mesh like lace insert in the front or all around (for pony tails) or full system into which individual hairs are hand-tied. This is designed to create a realistic looking hairline. The lace is trimmed to match the skin after purchase so that only a part that looks comfortable and more realistic to the client is left. When properly worn with special adhesive, the hairline can be so realistic looking as to be virtually undetectable that it is not the wearer’s own growing hair. It resembles a lot of the wigs that we see on models on the runways as well as famous actresses. 2A. What is a Lace Front Sew-In? The lace frontal can be used to close in a sew in weave across the front hairline if someone is extremely thin around the front, balding, or just want a more natural sew-in look and do not want a full lace front wig. So, if you are just looking for the lace front look, but have no interest in high ponytails etc. Well this is a less expensive approach. The only draw back is most stylist do not know about this feature of the lace frontal, so it is up to you to tell them about it and have them attach it for you. We do not explain over the phone how to attach However, we can provide a full demonstration on how to attach the lace frontal once you make a purchase. It is fairly simple once you are shown step by step photos and text demonstrations. This is most definitely the most natural look possible with a full head sew-in. 2B. What is a Lace Frontal? A lace frontal is the front of the hair piece that the extended lace is attached to. The lace frontal has an additional front hairline with hair and the extended lace. Therefore when your unit gives way from too much glue, tape, wear and tear etc., you simply detach the old used front hairline off and then reattach your new lace frontal piece. 3 . Can I wear this wig even if I have my own hair? Yes, you have to make your own hair as flat as possible or if you prefer in cornrows underneath, it is best to have your own scalp showing when you wear this unit for a more realistic look. 4. Can I wear this wig in a pony tail? Yes, simply request lace all around the unit. 5. Does this wig feel heavy? No, it feels very light and weighs almost nothing unless its very dense. 6. Can I go for a swim or go to the gym and sweat with this wig on? Yes, you can do your usual activities with this wig on. Just avoid swimming or getting it wet with sweat for 24 hours after applying adhesives and tapes. 7. I am African American and need hair that is more realistic looking & natural. Can I purchase these wigs? Yes, the natural look for African American hair is called Yaki hair which resembles hair that has been permed. 8. Can I straighten or curl this hair with curling irons etc? Yes this hair is 100% virgin human hair which reacts same way as your own hair. 9. I have experienced hair loss due to illness, is this wig right for me? Absolutely. 10. If I buy a wig, stock or custom, can I return it if I don’t like it? No. All sales are final for hygienic reasons. 11. How long will the wig last?
